Wugtrio ex 60/162 · Temporal Forces

Wugtrio is Pokédex #961, generation 9 (Paldea). Wugtrio ex is a Stage 1 Tera ex Lightning Pokémon with 250 HP. The card says it evolves from Wiglett. In this catalog that name is Wiglett (#960).

Wugtrio ex sits at 60/162 in Temporal Forces, position 60 of 218. Before it is 59 Boltund, and after it is 61 Iron Hands. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on 22 March 2024. The printed size is 162. This checklist is longer, at 218 cards. The listed rarity is Double Rare.

The attack Tricolor Pump lists no damage number. The cost is Water. Discard up to 3 Energy cards from your hand. This attack does 60 damage to 1 of your opponent's Pokémon for each Energy card you discarded in this way. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Numbing Hold is another attack lists 120 damage. The cost is Water, Water. During your opponent's next turn, the Defending Pokémon can't retreat. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: As long as this Pokémon is on your Bench, prevent all damage done to this Pokémon by attacks (both yours and your opponent's). The card text says: Pokémon ex rule: When your Pokémon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The card text says: Tera: As long as this Pokémon is on your Bench, prevent all damage done to this Pokémon by attacks (both yours and your opponent's). The regulation mark is H.

Wugtrio (#961) has 6 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 5 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2023 to 2024. The earliest other card is Wugtrio 57/198 in Scarlet & Violet (2023). That card is named Wugtrio, while this one is Wugtrio ex. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 250 HP. The rarity there is Uncommon, and here it is Double Rare. KIYOTAKA OSHIYAMA illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. The regulation mark there is G, and here it is H. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 5 other cards of Wugtrio list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads 5ban Graphics. I count 1,629 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Temporal Forces set binder is where a full Temporal Forces set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Wugtrio can fill a slot in Generation 9 binder (Paldea). Themed lists that include this exact card are Tera Pokémon. I still need this card.
