Prismatic Evolutions is a set in the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on 17 January 2025. The printed size is 131. This checklist is longer, at 180 cards. Flareon ex is a Stage 1 Tera ex Fire Pokémon with 270 HP. In the Pokédex this is Flareon (#136), generation 1 (Kanto). The card says it evolves from Eevee. In this catalog that name is Eevee (#133).

Flareon (#136) has 38 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 27 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2025. The earliest other card is Flareon 3/64 in Jungle (1999). That card is named Flareon, while this one is Flareon ex. That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 270 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Double Rare. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 37 other cards of Flareon list a different HP.

The attack Burning Charge lists 130 damage. The cost is Fire, Colorless. Search your deck for up to 2 Basic Energy cards and attach them to 1 of your Pokémon. Then, shuffle your deck. Carnelian is another attack lists 280 damage. The cost is Fire, Water, Lightning. During your next turn, this Pokémon can't attack. Weakness is Water ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: As long as this Pokémon is on your Bench, prevent all damage done to this Pokémon by attacks (both yours and your opponent's). The card text says: Pokémon ex rule: When your Pokémon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is H.

I keep a set binder for Prismatic Evolutions, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Prismatic Evolutions set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Flareon can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Eevee and the Eeveelutions and Tera Pokémon. I still need this card.
