Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat 85/102

Pikachu is Pokédex #025, generation 1 (Kanto). Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat is a Basic Lightning Pokémon with 60 HP.

Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat sits at 85/102 in Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos, position 85 of 165. Before it is 84 Quaquaval ex, and after it is 86 Mabosstiff ex. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on 1 January 2023. The printed size is 102. This checklist is longer, at 165 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Pika-Portrait lists no damage number. The cost is Lightning. Search your deck for a Pikachu and put it onto your Bench. Then, shuffle your deck. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "When it is angered, it immediately discharges the energy stored in the pouches of its cheeks." The regulation mark is G.

Pikachu (#025) has 212 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 90 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Pikachu 58/102 in Base (1999). That card is named Pikachu, while this one is Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat. That card lists 40 HP, and this one lists 60 HP. The rarity there is Common, and here it is Promo. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and Naoyo Kimura illustrated this one. 144 other cards of Pikachu list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Naoyo Kimura. I count 256 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos set binder is where a full Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Pikachu can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are All Pikachu cards. I still need this card.
