Astral Radiance is a set in the Sword & Shield series. It was released on 27 May 2022. The printed size is 189. This checklist is longer, at 216 cards. Hisuian Typhlosion is a Stage 2 Psychic Pokémon with 150 HP. In the Pokédex this is Typhlosion (#157), generation 2 (Johto). The card says it evolves from Quilava. In this catalog that name is Quilava (#156).

Kouki Saitou illustrated this card. The same name is on 652 other cards in the catalog.

Typhlosion (#157) has 26 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 17 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2000 to 2025. The earliest other card is Typhlosion 17/111 in Neo Genesis (2000). That card is named Typhlosion, while this one is Hisuian Typhlosion. That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 150 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Shin-ichi Yoshida illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 23 other cards of Typhlosion list a different HP.

Supernatural Orb is listed as Ability. You must discard a Psychic Energy card from your hand in order to use this Ability. Once during your turn, you may make your opponent's Active Pokémon Burned and Confused. The attack Shadow Bind lists 90 damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. During your opponent's next turn, the Defending Pokémon can't retreat. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "Said to purify lost, forsaken souls with its flames and guide them to the afterlife. I believe its form has been influenced by the energy of the sacred mountain towering at Hisui's center." The regulation mark is F.

I keep a set binder for Astral Radiance, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Astral Radiance set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Typhlosion can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Hisuian and Paldean forms and Johto starters. I still need this card.
