Orbeetle VMAX TG13/30 · Lost Origin Trainer Gallery

Lost Origin Trainer Gallery is a set in the Sword & Shield series. It was released on 9 September 2022. The printed size is 30, and the checklist is the same length. Orbeetle VMAX is TG13/30, in position 13 of 30 on this checklist. Before it is TG12 Orbeetle V, and after it is TG14 Centiskorch V. The listed rarity is Rare Holo VMAX.

Orbeetle VMAX is a VMAX Grass Pokémon with 310 HP. In the Pokédex this is Orbeetle (#826), generation 8 (Galar). The card says it evolves from Orbeetle V. In this catalog that name is Orbeetle (#826).

Teeziro illustrated this card. The same name is on 70 other cards in the catalog.

Orbeetle (#826) has 13 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 9 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2019 to 2025. The earliest other card is Orbeetle V SWSH078/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos (2019). That card is named Orbeetle V, while this one is Orbeetle VMAX. That card lists 180 HP, and this one lists 310 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo VMAX. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Teeziro illustrated this one. 11 other cards of Orbeetle list a different HP.

Eerie Beam is listed as Ability. Once during your turn, if this Pokémon is in the Active Spot, you may put 1 damage counter on each of your opponent's Pokémon. The attack G-Max Wave lists 50+ damage. The cost is Grass, Colorless. This attack does 50 more damage for each Energy attached to your opponent's Active Pokémon. Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: VMAX rule: When your Pokémon VMAX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 3 Prize cards. The regulation mark is D.

I keep a set binder for Lost Origin Trainer Gallery, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Lost Origin Trainer Gallery set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Orbeetle can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). Themed lists that include this exact card are VMAX cards. I still need this card.
