Zacian 94/159 · Crown Zenith

Zacian is Pokédex #888, generation 8 (Galar). Zacian is a Basic Metal Pokémon with 130 HP.

Zacian sits at 94/159 in Crown Zenith, position 94 of 160. Before it is 93 Bisharp, and after it is 95 Zacian V. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on 20 January 2023. The printed size is 159. This checklist is longer, at 160 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

The attack Battle Legion lists 20+ damage. The cost is Metal. This attack does 10 more damage for each of your Benched Pokémon. This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness or by any effects on your opponent's Active Pokémon. Slicing Blade is another attack lists 100 damage. The cost is Metal, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Fire ×2. Resistance is Grass -30. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Now armed with a weapon it used in ancient times, this Pokémon needs only a single strike to fell even Gigantamax Pokémon." The regulation mark is F.

Zacian (#888) has 27 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2019 to 2026. The earliest other card is Zacian V SWSH018/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos (2019). That card is named Zacian V, while this one is Zacian. That card lists 220 HP, and this one lists 130 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and nagimiso illustrated this one. The regulation mark there is D, and here it is F. 23 other cards of Zacian list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads nagimiso. I count 156 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Crown Zenith set binder is where a full Crown Zenith set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Zacian can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). I still need this card.
