Cinderace SV017/122 · Shining Fates Shiny Vault

Cinderace is Pokédex #815, generation 8 (Galar). Cinderace is a Stage 2 Fire Pokémon with 170 HP. The card says it evolves from Raboot. In this catalog that name is Raboot (#814).

Cinderace sits at SV017/122 in Shining Fates Shiny Vault, position 17 of 122. Before it is SV016 Raboot, and after it is SV018 Sizzlipede. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on 19 February 2021. The printed size is 122, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare Shiny.

Libero is listed as Ability. Once during your turn, when this Pokémon moves from your Bench to the Active Spot, you may attach up to 2 Fire Energy cards from your discard pile to it. The attack Flare Striker lists 190 damage. The cost is Fire, Fire, Colorless. Discard 2 Energy from this Pokémon. Weakness is Water ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It's skilled at both offense and defense, and it gets pumped up when cheered on. But if it starts showboating, it could put itself in a tough spot." The regulation mark is D.

Cinderace (#815) has 21 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 10 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2019 to 2026. The earliest other card is Cinderace V SWSH015/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos (2019). That card is named Cinderace V, while this one is Cinderace. That card lists 210 HP, and this one lists 170 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Shiny. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Hitoshi Ariga illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 15 other cards of Cinderace list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Hitoshi Ariga. I count 155 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Shining Fates Shiny Vault set binder is where a full Shining Fates Shiny Vault set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Cinderace can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). Themed lists that include this exact card are Galar starters. I still need this card.
