Blissey V 182/198 · Chilling Reign

Blissey is Pokédex #242, generation 2 (Johto). Blissey V is a Basic V Colorless Pokémon with 250 HP.

Blissey V sits at 182/198 in Chilling Reign, position 182 of 233. Before it is 181 Metagross V, and after it is 183 Blissey V. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on 18 June 2021. The printed size is 198. This checklist is longer, at 233 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Ultra.

Natural Cure is listed as Ability. Whenever you attach an Energy card from your hand to this Pokémon, remove all Special Conditions from it. The attack Blissful Blast lists 10+ damage. The cost is Colorless. This attack does 30 more damage for each Energy attached to this Pokémon. If you did any damage with this attack, you may attach up to 3 Energy cards from your discard pile to this Pokémon. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 4. The card text says: V rule: When your Pokémon V is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is E.

Blissey (#242) has 21 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 17 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2001 to 2024. The earliest other card is Blissey 2/64 in Neo Revelation (2001). That card is named Blissey, while this one is Blissey V. That card lists 120 HP, and this one lists 250 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Ultra. Yuka Morii illustrated that card, and Saki Hayashiro illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 4. 18 other cards of Blissey list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Saki Hayashiro. I count 40 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Chilling Reign set binder is where a full Chilling Reign set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Blissey can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
