The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on 18 June 2021. The printed size is 198. This checklist is longer, at 233 cards. The collector number is above the printed set size of 198. The listed rarity is Rare Rainbow.

Calyrex (#898) has 20 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 4 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2019 to 2023. The earliest other card is Ice Rider Calyrex V SWSH130/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos (2019). That card is named Ice Rider Calyrex V, while this one is Shadow Rider Calyrex VMAX. That card lists 210 HP, and this one lists 320 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Rainbow. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated this one. 11 other cards of Calyrex list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Mitsuhiro Arita. I count 721 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Chilling Reign set binder is where a full Chilling Reign set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Calyrex can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). Themed lists that include this exact card are Mitsuhiro Arita cards and VMAX cards. I still need this card.
