Chilling Reign is a set in the Sword & Shield series. It was released on 18 June 2021. The printed size is 198. This checklist is longer, at 233 cards. Castform Rainy Form is a Basic Water Pokémon with 70 HP. In the Pokédex this is Castform (#351), generation 3 (Hoenn).

sowsow illustrated this card. The same name is on 104 other cards in the catalog.

Castform (#351) has 21 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 9 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2004 to 2024. The earliest other card is Rain Castform 23/101 in Hidden Legends (2004). That card is named Rain Castform, while this one is Castform Rainy Form. That card lists 60 HP, and this one lists 70 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Common. Sumiyoshi Kizuki illustrated that card, and sowsow illustrated this one. 5 other cards of Castform list a different HP.

Weather Reading is listed as Ability. If you have 8 or more Stadium cards in your discard pile, ignore all Energy in this Pokémon's attack costs. The attack Rainfall lists no damage number. The cost is Water, Colorless. This attack does 20 damage to each of your opponent's Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Weakness is Lightning ×2. The flavor text reads "This is Castform's form when pelted by rain. In an experiment where it was placed in a shower, this Pokémon didn't change to this form." The regulation mark is E.

I keep a set binder for Chilling Reign, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Chilling Reign set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Castform can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). Themed lists that include this exact card are sowsow cards. I still need this card.
