Eiscue 44/172 · Brilliant Stars

Eiscue is Pokédex #875, generation 8 (Galar). Eiscue is a Basic Fusion Strike Water Pokémon with 110 HP.

Eiscue sits at 44/172 in Brilliant Stars, position 44 of 186. Before it is 43 Beartic, and after it is 45 Raichu V. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on 25 February 2022. The printed size is 172. This checklist is longer, at 186 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Block Slider lists no damage number. The cost is Water, Colorless. This attack does 40 damage to 1 of your opponent's Pokémon for each Fusion Strike Energy attached to all of your Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Icicle Missile is another attack lists 100 damage. The cost is Water, Water, Colorless. Weakness is Metal ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "The hair on its head connects to the surface of its brain. When this Pokémon has something on its mind, its hair chills the air around it." The regulation mark is E.

Eiscue (#875) has 11 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 7 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2019 to 2025. The earliest other card is Eiscue SWSH128/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos (2019). That card lists 120 HP, and this one lists 110 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare. kirisAki illustrated that card, and nagimiso illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 8 other cards of Eiscue list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads nagimiso. I count 156 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Brilliant Stars set binder is where a full Brilliant Stars set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Eiscue can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). I still need this card.
