Galarian Mr. Rime SWSH079/307 · SWSH Black Star Promos

Mr. Rime is Pokédex #866, generation 8 (Galar). Galarian Mr. Rime is a Stage 1 Water Pokémon with 120 HP. The card says it evolves from Galarian Mr. Mime. In this catalog that name is Mr. Mime (#122).

Galarian Mr. Rime sits at SWSH079/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos, position 79 of 304. Before it is SWSH078 Orbeetle V, and after it is SWSH080 Dedenne. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on 15 November 2019. The printed size is 307. This checklist is longer, at 304 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

Shuffle Dance is listed as Ability. Once during your turn, you may switch 1 of your opponent's face-down Prize cards with the top card of their deck. (The cards stay face down.) The attack Mad Party lists 20× damage. The cost is Water, Colorless, Colorless. This attack does 20 damage for each Pokémon in your discard pile that has the Mad Party attack. Weakness is Metal ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It's highly skilled at tap-dancing. It waves its cane of ice in time with its graceful movements." The regulation mark is D.

Mr. Rime (#866) has 5 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 5 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2020 to 2022. The earliest other card is Galarian Mr. Rime 38/192 in Rebel Clash (2020). That card lists 110 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Promo. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and KEIICHIRO ITO illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 3 other cards of Mr. Rime list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads KEIICHIRO ITO. I count 50 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

SWSH Black Star Promos set binder is where a full SWSH Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Mr. Rime can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). Themed lists that include this exact card are Galarian forms. I still need this card.
