Umbreon SWSH129/307 · SWSH Black Star Promos

Umbreon is Pokédex #197, generation 2 (Johto). Umbreon is a Stage 1 Darkness Pokémon with 110 HP. The card says it evolves from Eevee. In this catalog that name is Eevee (#133).

Umbreon sits at SWSH129/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos, position 129 of 304. Before it is SWSH128 Eiscue, and after it is SWSH130 Ice Rider Calyrex V. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on 15 November 2019. The printed size is 307. This checklist is longer, at 304 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Blindside lists no damage number. The cost is Darkness. This attack does 60 damage to 1 of your opponent's Pokémon that has any damage counters on it. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Moon Mirage is another attack lists 80 damage. The cost is Darkness, Colorless, Colorless. Your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Confused. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "On the night of a full moon, or when it gets excited, the ring patterns on its body glow yellow." The regulation mark is E.

Umbreon (#197) has 45 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 27 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2001 to 2026. The earliest other card is Umbreon 13/75 in Neo Discovery (2001). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 110 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Promo. Kimiya Masago illustrated that card, and Souichirou Gunjima illustrated this one. 40 other cards of Umbreon list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Souichirou Gunjima. I count 86 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

SWSH Black Star Promos set binder is where a full SWSH Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Umbreon can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Eevee and the Eeveelutions and Night and moon Pokémon. I still need this card.
