SWSH Black Star Promos is a set in the Sword & Shield series. It was released on 15 November 2019. The printed size is 307. This checklist is longer, at 304 cards. Lucario is a Stage 1 Fighting Pokémon with 120 HP. In the Pokédex this is Lucario (#448), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Riolu. In this catalog that name is Riolu (#447).

NC Empire illustrated this card. The same name is on 35 other cards in the catalog.

Lucario (#448) has 59 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 40 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Lucario 6/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Promo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and NC Empire illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 54 other cards of Lucario list a different HP.

Roaring Resolve is listed as Ability. Once during your turn, you may put 2 damage counters on this Pokémon. If you do, search your deck for a Fighting Energy card and attach it to this Pokémon. Then, shuffle your deck. The attack Aura Sphere Volley lists 10+ damage. The cost is Fighting, Fighting. Discard all Fighting Energy from this Pokémon. This attack does 60 more damage for each card you discarded in this way. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It controls waves known as auras, which are powerful enough to pulverize huge rocks. It uses these waves to take down its prey." The regulation mark is F.

I keep a set binder for SWSH Black Star Promos, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the SWSH Black Star Promos set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Lucario can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). Themed lists that include this exact card are Riolu and Lucario. I still need this card.
