Gengar is a Stage 2 Psychic Pokémon with 120 HP. In the Pokédex this is Gengar (#094), generation 1 (Kanto). The card says it evolves from Haunter. In this catalog that name is Haunter (#093).
Uta illustrated this card. The same name is on 50 other cards in the catalog.
Gengar (#094) has 52 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 35 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Gengar 5/62 in Fossil (1999). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Promo. Keiji Kinebuchi illustrated that card, and Uta illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 49 other cards of Gengar list a different HP.
Netherworld Gate is listed as Ability. Once during your turn, if this Pokémon is in your discard pile, you may put it onto your Bench. If you do, put 3 damage counters on this Pokémon. The attack Screaming Circle lists no damage number. The cost is Psychic. Put 2 damage counters on your opponent's Active Pokémon for each of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "On the night of a full moon, if shadows move on their own and laugh, it must be Gengar's doing." The regulation mark is F.
I keep a set binder for SWSH Black Star Promos, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the SWSH Black Star Promos set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Gengar can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Gengar and the Gastly line and Night and moon Pokémon. I still need this card.
