M Alakazam-EX 26/124 · Fates Collide

Alakazam is Pokédex #065, generation 1 (Kanto). M Alakazam-EX is a MEGA EX Psychic Pokémon with 210 HP. The card says it evolves from Alakazam-EX. In this catalog that name is Alakazam (#065).

M Alakazam-EX sits at 26/124 in Fates Collide, position 26 of 129. Before it is 25 Alakazam-EX, and after it is 27 Koffing. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on 2 May 2016. The printed size is 124. This checklist is longer, at 129 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo EX.

The attack Zen Force lists 10+ damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. This attack does 30 more damage for each damage counter on your opponent's Active Pokémon. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: Mega Evolution rule: When 1 of your Pokémon becomes a Mega Evolution Pokémon, your turn ends. The card text says: Pokémon-EX rule: When a Pokémon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Alakazam (#065) has 28 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 19 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2025. The earliest other card is Alakazam 1/102 in Base (1999). That card is named Alakazam, while this one is M Alakazam-EX. That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 210 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Holo EX. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 1. 27 other cards of Alakazam list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads 5ban Graphics. I count 1,629 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Fates Collide set binder is where a full Fates Collide set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Alakazam can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
