Lucario 63/124 · Fates Collide

Fates Collide is a set in the XY series. It was released on 2 May 2016. The printed size is 124. This checklist is longer, at 129 cards. Lucario is 63/124, in position 65 of 129 on this checklist. Before it is 62 Bronzong BREAK, and after it is 64 Genesect-EX. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Lucario is a Stage 1 Metal Pokémon with 110 HP. In the Pokédex this is Lucario (#448), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Riolu. In this catalog that name is Riolu (#447).

Hitoshi Ariga illustrated this card. The same name is on 155 other cards in the catalog.

Lucario (#448) has 59 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 40 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Lucario 6/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 110 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Hitoshi Ariga illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 53 other cards of Lucario list a different HP.

The attack Vacuum Wave lists 50 damage. The cost is Metal. This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness or Resistance. Fight Alone is another attack lists 30+ damage. The cost is Metal, Colorless. If you have fewer Pokémon in play than your opponent, this attack does 60 more damage for each Pokémon fewer you have in play. Weakness is Fire ×2. Resistance is Psychic -20. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "By reading the auras of all things, it can tell how others are feeling from over half a mile away."

I keep a set binder for Fates Collide, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Fates Collide set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Lucario can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). Themed lists that include this exact card are Riolu and Lucario. I still need this card.
