Clawitzer BREAK 35/114 · Steam Siege

Steam Siege is a set in the XY series. It was released on 3 August 2016. The printed size is 114. This checklist is longer, at 116 cards. Clawitzer BREAK is 35/114, in position 35 of 116 on this checklist. Before it is 34 Clawitzer, and after it is 36 Bergmite. The listed rarity is Rare BREAK.

Clawitzer BREAK is a BREAK Water Pokémon with 130 HP. In the Pokédex this is Clawitzer (#693), generation 6 (Kalos). The card says it evolves from Clawitzer. In this catalog that name is Clawitzer (#693).

5ban Graphics illustrated this card. The same name is on 1,629 other cards in the catalog.

Clawitzer (#693) has 8 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 7 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2013 to 2025. The earliest other card is Clawitzer XY146/211 in XY Black Star Promos (2013). That card is named Clawitzer, while this one is Clawitzer BREAK. That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 130 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare BREAK. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. 6 other cards of Clawitzer list a different HP.

The attack Lock-On lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. The Defending Pokémon can't retreat during your opponent's next turn. During your next turn, any damage done to that Pokémon by attacks is increased by 120 (after applying Weakness and Resistance). The card text says: BREAK Evolution Rule: Clawitzer BREAK retains the attacks, Abilities, Weakness, Resistance, and Retreat Cost of its previous Evolution.

I keep a set binder for Steam Siege, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Steam Siege set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Clawitzer can fill a slot in Generation 6 binder (Kalos). Themed lists that include this exact card are BREAK Evolution. I still need this card.
