Plusle 31/111 · Furious Fists

Plusle is Pokédex #311, generation 3 (Hoenn). Plusle is a Basic Lightning Pokémon with 70 HP.

Plusle sits at 31/111 in Furious Fists, position 31 of 114. Before it is 30 Electivire, and after it is 32 Minun. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on 13 August 2014. The printed size is 111. This checklist is longer, at 114 cards. The listed rarity is Common.

The attack Positive Hand lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Discard a basic Energy card from your hand. If you do, draw 2 cards. Electric Tail is another attack lists 30 damage. The cost is Lightning, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Paralyzed. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Resistance is Metal -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It cheers on friends with pom-poms made of sparks. It drains power from telephone poles."

Plusle (#311) has 19 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 18 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2023. The earliest other card is Plusle 8/97 in Dragon (2003). That card lists 50 HP, and this one lists 70 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Common. Atsuko Nishida illustrated that card, and Akira Komayama illustrated this one. 14 other cards of Plusle list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Akira Komayama. I count 239 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Furious Fists set binder is where a full Furious Fists set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Plusle can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
