M Lucario-EX 55/111 · Furious Fists

Lucario is Pokédex #448, generation 4 (Sinnoh). M Lucario-EX is a MEGA EX Fighting Pokémon with 220 HP. The card says it evolves from Lucario-EX. In this catalog that name is Lucario (#448).

M Lucario-EX sits at 55/111 in Furious Fists, position 55 of 114. Before it is 54 Lucario-EX, and after it is 55a M Lucario-EX. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on 13 August 2014. The printed size is 111. This checklist is longer, at 114 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo EX.

The attack Rising Fist lists 140 damage. The cost is Fighting, Fighting, Fighting. Discard an Energy attached to your opponent's Active Pokémon. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: Mega Evolution rule: When 1 of your Pokémon becomes a Mega Evolution Pokémon, your turn ends. The card text says: Pokémon-EX rule: When a Pokémon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Lucario (#448) has 59 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 40 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Lucario 6/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card is named Lucario, while this one is M Lucario-EX. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 220 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Holo EX. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 57 other cards of Lucario list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads 5ban Graphics. I count 1,629 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Furious Fists set binder is where a full Furious Fists set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Lucario can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). Themed lists that include this exact card are Riolu and Lucario. I still need this card.
