Lumineon 19/119 · Phantom Forces

Phantom Forces is a set in the XY series. It was released on 5 November 2014. The printed size is 119. This checklist is longer, at 124 cards. Lumineon is 19/119, in position 19 of 124 on this checklist. Before it is 18 Finneon, and after it is 20 Frillish. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Lumineon is a Stage 1 Water Pokémon with 80 HP. In the Pokédex this is Lumineon (#457), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Finneon. In this catalog that name is Finneon (#456).

sui illustrated this card. The same name is on 194 other cards in the catalog.

Lumineon (#457) has 10 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 8 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2024. The earliest other card is Lumineon 11/123 in Mysterious Treasures (2007). Both list 80 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Uncommon. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and sui illustrated this one. 8 other cards of Lumineon list a different HP.

The attack Neon Sign lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Search your deck for up to 2 Pokémon, reveal them, and put them into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward. Water Pulse is another attack lists 30 damage. The cost is Water, Colorless. Your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Asleep. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It lives on the deep-sea floor. It attracts prey by flashing the patterns on its four tail fins."

I keep a set binder for Phantom Forces, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Phantom Forces set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Lumineon can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
