Gliscor 37/108 · Roaring Skies

Roaring Skies is a set in the XY series. It was released on 6 May 2015. The printed size is 108. This checklist is longer, at 112 cards. Gliscor is 37/108, in position 37 of 112 on this checklist. Before it is 36 Gligar, and after it is 38 Binacle. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Gliscor is a Stage 1 Fighting Pokémon with 90 HP. In the Pokédex this is Gliscor (#472), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Gligar. In this catalog that name is Gligar (#207).

Hajime Kusajima illustrated this card. The same name is on 206 other cards in the catalog.

Gliscor (#472) has 15 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2025. The earliest other card is Gliscor DP36/56 in DP Black Star Promos (2007). Both list 90 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Uncommon. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated that card, and Hajime Kusajima illustrated this one. 11 other cards of Gliscor list a different HP.

The attack Rock Slide lists 20 damage. The cost is Colorless. This attack does 20 damage to 2 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Slash is another attack lists 40 damage. The cost is Fighting, Colorless. Weakness is Water ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "Its flight is soundless. It uses its lengthy tail to carry off its prey… Then its elongated fangs do the rest."

I keep a set binder for Roaring Skies, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Roaring Skies set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Gliscor can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
