Beautifly 5/108 · Roaring Skies

Beautifly is Pokédex #267, generation 3 (Hoenn). Beautifly is a Stage 2 Grass Pokémon with 130 HP. The card says it evolves from Silcoon. In this catalog that name is Silcoon (#266).

Beautifly sits at 5/108 in Roaring Skies, position 5 of 112. Before it is 4 Silcoon, and after it is 6 Cascoon. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on 6 May 2015. The printed size is 108. This checklist is longer, at 112 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Miraculous Scales is listed as Ability. Prevent all damage done to this Pokémon by attacks from your opponent's Pokémon-EX. The attack Whirlwind lists 80 damage. The cost is Grass, Colorless, Colorless. You may have your opponent switch his or her Active Pokémon with 1 of his or her Benched Pokémon. Weakness is Fire ×2. The flavor text reads "It has an aggressive nature. It stabs prey with its long, narrow mouth to drain the prey's fluids."

Beautifly (#267) has 10 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 9 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2026. The earliest other card is Beautifly 2/109 in Ruby & Sapphire (2003). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 130 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Hajime Kusajima illustrated that card, and Midori Harada illustrated this one. 6 other cards of Beautifly list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Midori Harada. I count 352 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Roaring Skies set binder is where a full Roaring Skies set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Beautifly can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
