Unfezant 81/108 · Roaring Skies

Unfezant is Pokédex #521, generation 5 (Unova). Unfezant is a Stage 2 Colorless Pokémon with 140 HP. The card says it evolves from Tranquill. In this catalog that name is Tranquill (#520).

Unfezant sits at 81/108 in Roaring Skies, position 82 of 112. Before it is 80 Unfezant, and after it is 82 Fletchling. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on 6 May 2015. The printed size is 108. This checklist is longer, at 112 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Feather Dance lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. During your next turn, each of this Pokémon's attacks does 80 more damage (before applying Weakness and Resistance). Sky Attack is another attack lists 120 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. Flip a coin. If tails, this attack does nothing. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Resistance is Fighting -20. Δ Evolution is the ancient trait on this card. You may play this card from your hand to evolve a Pokémon during your first turn or the turn you play that Pokémon. The flavor text reads "Males have plumage on their heads. They will never let themselves feel close to anyone other than their Trainers."

Unfezant (#521) has 10 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 9 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Unfezant 86/114 in Black & White (2011). That card lists 120 HP, and this one lists 140 HP. Both list the rarity Rare. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated that card, and TOKIYA illustrated this one. 8 other cards of Unfezant list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads TOKIYA. I count 93 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Roaring Skies set binder is where a full Roaring Skies set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Unfezant can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
