Manaphy-EX 116/122 · BREAKpoint

Manaphy is Pokédex #490, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Manaphy-EX is a Basic EX Water Pokémon with 120 HP.

Manaphy-EX sits at 116/122 in BREAKpoint, position 119 of 126. Before it is 115 M Gyarados-EX, and after it is 117 Espeon-EX. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on 3 February 2016. The printed size is 122. This checklist is longer, at 126 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Ultra.

Aqua Tube is listed as Ability. Each of your Pokémon that has any Water Energy attached to it has no Retreat Cost. The attack Mineral Pump lists 60 damage. The cost is Water, Water. Heal 30 damage from each of your Benched Pokémon. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: Pokémon-EX rule: When a Pokémon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Manaphy (#490) has 16 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 15 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2023. The earliest other card is Manaphy 9/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card is named Manaphy, while this one is Manaphy-EX. That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Ultra. Nakaoka illustrated that card, and Ryo Ueda illustrated this one. 15 other cards of Manaphy list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Ryo Ueda. I count 462 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

BREAKpoint set binder is where a full BREAKpoint set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Manaphy can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
