Darkrai-EX 118/122 · BREAKpoint

Darkrai is Pokédex #491, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Darkrai-EX is a Basic EX Darkness Pokémon with 180 HP.

Darkrai-EX sits at 118/122 in BREAKpoint, position 121 of 126. Before it is 117 Espeon-EX, and after it is 119 Scizor-EX. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on 3 February 2016. The printed size is 122. This checklist is longer, at 126 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Ultra.

The attack Dark Pulse lists 20+ damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. This attack does 20 more damage for each Darkness Energy attached to all of your Pokémon. Dark Head is another attack lists 80+ damage. The cost is Darkness, Colorless, Colorless. If your opponent's Active Pokémon is Asleep, this attack does 80 more damage. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Resistance is Psychic -20. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: Pokémon-EX rule: When a Pokémon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Darkrai (#491) has 40 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 23 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Darkrai LV.X DP19/56 in DP Black Star Promos (2007). That card is named Darkrai LV.X, while this one is Darkrai-EX. That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 180 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Ultra. Shizurow illustrated that card, and Ryo Ueda illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 30 other cards of Darkrai list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Ryo Ueda. I count 462 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

BREAKpoint set binder is where a full BREAKpoint set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Darkrai can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
