Muk 16/110 · Legendary Collection

Muk is Pokédex #089, generation 1 (Kanto). Muk is a Stage 1 Grass Pokémon with 70 HP. The card lists level 34. The card says it evolves from Grimer. In this catalog that name is Grimer (#088).

Muk sits at 16/110 in Legendary Collection, position 16 of 110. Before it is 15 Machamp, and after it is 17 Ninetales. The set belongs to the Other series. It was released on May 24, 2002. The printed size is 110, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Toxic Gas is listed as Pokémon Power. Ignore all Pokémon Powers other than Toxic Gases. This power stops working while Muk is affected by a Special Condition. The attack Sludge lists 30 damage. The cost is Grass, Grass, Grass. Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Poisoned. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Thickly covered with a filthy, vile sludge. It is so toxic, even its footprints contain poison."

Muk (#089) has 31 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 23 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2025. The earliest other card is Muk 13/62 in Fossil (1999). Both list 70 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. 26 other cards of Muk list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Mitsuhiro Arita. I count 721 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Legendary Collection set binder is where a full Legendary Collection set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Muk can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Mitsuhiro Arita cards. I still need this card.
