Eelektrik 32/101 · Plasma Blast

Plasma Blast is a set in the Black & White series. It was released on August 14, 2013. The printed size is 101. This checklist is longer, at 105 cards. Eelektrik is 32/101, in position 32 of 105 on this checklist. Before it is 31 Tynamo, and after it is 33 Eelektross. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Eelektrik is a Stage 1 Lightning Pokémon with 80 HP. In the Pokédex this is Eelektrik (#603), generation 5 (Unova). The card says it evolves from Tynamo. In this catalog that name is Tynamo (#602). The card lists Eelektross, Eelektross (#604) under evolves to.

Suwama Chiaki illustrated this card. The same name is on 102 other cards in the catalog.

Eelektrik (#603) has 14 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 12 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2026. The earliest other card is Eelektrik 40/101 in Noble Victories (2011). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 80 HP. Both list the rarity Uncommon. MAHOU illustrated that card, and Suwama Chiaki illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 12 other cards of Eelektrik list a different HP.

The attack Thunder Wave lists 20 damage. The cost is Lightning. Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Paralyzed. Headbutt is another attack lists 30 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It wraps itself around its prey and paralyzes it with electricity from the round spots on its sides. Then it chomps."

I keep a set binder for Plasma Blast, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Plasma Blast set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Eelektrik can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
