Dialga-EX 99/101 · Plasma Blast

Dialga is Pokédex #483, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Dialga-EX is a Basic EX Team Plasma Dragon Pokémon with 180 HP.

Dialga-EX sits at 99/101 in Plasma Blast, position 99 of 105. Before it is 98 Jirachi-EX, and after it is 100 Palkia-EX. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on August 14, 2013. The printed size is 101. This checklist is longer, at 105 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Ultra.

The attack Reverse Edge lists 50 damage. The cost is Psychic, Metal, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, put a card from your discard pile into your hand. Fast Forward is another attack lists 90 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. For each Plasma Energy attached to this Pokémon, discard the top card of your opponent's deck. Weakness is Dragon ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: Pokémon-EX rule: When a Pokémon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Dialga (#483) has 46 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 23 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Dialga 1/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card is named Dialga, while this one is Dialga-EX. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 180 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Ultra. Nakaoka illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. 37 other cards of Dialga list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads 5ban Graphics. I count 1,629 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Plasma Blast set binder is where a full Plasma Blast set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Dialga can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
