Cofagrigus 47/101 · Noble Victories

Noble Victories is a set in the Black & White series. It was released on November 16, 2011. The printed size is 101. This checklist is longer, at 102 cards. Cofagrigus is 47/101, in position 47 of 102 on this checklist. Before it is 46 Cofagrigus, and after it is 48 Trubbish. The listed rarity is Rare.

Cofagrigus is a Stage 1 Psychic Pokémon with 90 HP. In the Pokédex this is Cofagrigus (#563), generation 5 (Unova). The card says it evolves from Yamask. In this catalog that name is Yamask (#562).

Shin Nagasawa illustrated this card. The same name is on 303 other cards in the catalog.

Cofagrigus (#563) has 10 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 7 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Cofagrigus 46/101 in Noble Victories (2011). Both list 90 HP. Both list the rarity Rare. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and Shin Nagasawa illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 2. 9 other cards of Cofagrigus list a different HP.

Durable Body is listed as Ability. If this Pokémon would be Knocked Out by damage from an attack, flip a coin. If heads, this Pokémon is not Knocked Out and its remaining HP becomes 10 instead. The attack Ambush lists 40+ damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 20 more damage. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "They pretend to be elaborate coffins to teach lessons to grave robbers. Their bodies are covered in pure gold."

I keep a set binder for Noble Victories, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Noble Victories set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Cofagrigus can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
