Cofagrigus ex 76/182 · Paradox Rift

Cofagrigus is Pokédex #563, generation 5 (Unova). Cofagrigus ex is a Stage 1 ex Psychic Pokémon with 260 HP. The card says it evolves from Yamask. In this catalog that name is Yamask (#562).

Cofagrigus ex sits at 76/182 in Paradox Rift, position 76 of 266. Before it is 75 Yamask, and after it is 77 Pumpkaboo. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on November 3, 2023. The printed size is 182. This checklist is longer, at 266 cards. The listed rarity is Double Rare.

Gold Coffin is listed as Ability. If this Pokémon is Knocked Out by damage from an attack from your opponent's Pokémon, search your deck for a card and put it into your hand. Then, shuffle your deck. The attack Hollow Hands lists 110 damage. The cost is Psychic, Psychic. Put 5 damage counters on your opponent's Benched Pokémon in any way you like. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: Pokémon ex rule: When your Pokémon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is G.

Cofagrigus (#563) has 10 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 7 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Cofagrigus 46/101 in Noble Victories (2011). That card is named Cofagrigus, while this one is Cofagrigus ex. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 260 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Double Rare. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and kawayoo illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 2. 9 other cards of Cofagrigus list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads kawayoo. I count 209 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Paradox Rift set binder is where a full Paradox Rift set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Cofagrigus can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
