Mienshao 68/99 · Next Destinies

Next Destinies is a set in the Black & White series. It was released on February 8, 2012. The printed size is 99. This checklist is longer, at 103 cards. Mienshao is 68/99, in position 68 of 103 on this checklist. Before it is 67 Mienfoo, and after it is 69 Sneasel. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Mienshao is a Stage 1 Fighting Pokémon with 90 HP. In the Pokédex this is Mienshao (#620), generation 5 (Unova). The card says it evolves from Mienfoo. In this catalog that name is Mienfoo (#619).

Suwama Chiaki illustrated this card. The same name is on 102 other cards in the catalog.

Mienshao (#620) has 10 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 8 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Mienshao 70/101 in Noble Victories (2011). Both list 90 HP. Both list the rarity Uncommon. Atsuko Nishida illustrated that card, and Suwama Chiaki illustrated this one. 4 other cards of Mienshao list a different HP.

The attack Haul In lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Search your deck for 2 Pokémon Tool cards, reveal them, and put them into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward. Meditate is another attack lists 30+ damage. The cost is Fighting, Colorless. Does 10 more damage for each damage counter on the Defending Pokémon. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "They use the long fur on their arms as a whip to strike their opponents."

I keep a set binder for Next Destinies, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Next Destinies set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Mienshao can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
