MAHOU illustrated this card. The same name is on 122 other cards in the catalog.

Slowpoke (#079) has 39 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 35 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Slowpoke 55/62 in Fossil (1999). That card lists 50 HP, and this one lists 70 HP. Both list the rarity Common. Miki Tanaka illustrated that card, and MAHOU illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 3. 24 other cards of Slowpoke list a different HP.

The attack Big Yawn lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Both this Pokémon and the Defending Pokémon are now Asleep. Shot in the Dark is another attack lists 20 damage. The cost is Water, Colorless. Flip 2 coins. If either of them is tails, this attack does nothing. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "Although slow, it is skilled at fishing with its tail. It does not feel pain if its tail is bitten."

I keep a set binder for Dark Explorers, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Dark Explorers set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Slowpoke can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
