Dustox 47/124 · Dragons Exalted

Dustox is Pokédex #269, generation 3 (Hoenn). Dustox is a Stage 2 Psychic Pokémon with 130 HP. The card says it evolves from Cascoon. In this catalog that name is Cascoon (#268).

Dustox sits at 47/124 in Dragons Exalted, position 47 of 128. Before it is 46 Mew-EX, and after it is 48 Shedinja. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on August 15, 2012. The printed size is 124. This checklist is longer, at 128 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Hazardous Scales lists no damage number. The cost is Psychic. The Defending Pokémon is now Asleep, Burned, and Poisoned. Aerial Ace is another attack lists 50+ damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 30 more damage. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "Toxic powder is scattered with each flap. At night, it is known to strip leaves off trees lining boulevards."

Dustox (#269) has 10 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 8 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2026. The earliest other card is Dustox 6/109 in Ruby & Sapphire (2003). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 130 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Midori Harada illustrated that card, and Kagemaru Himeno illustrated this one. 8 other cards of Dustox list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kagemaru Himeno. I count 656 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Dragons Exalted set binder is where a full Dragons Exalted set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Dustox can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
