Mew-EX 46/124 · Dragons Exalted

Dragons Exalted is a set in the Black & White series. It was released on August 15, 2012. The printed size is 124. This checklist is longer, at 128 cards. Mew-EX is 46/124, in position 46 of 128 on this checklist. Before it is 45 Emolga, and after it is 47 Dustox. The listed rarity is Rare Holo EX.

Mew-EX is a Basic EX Psychic Pokémon with 120 HP. In the Pokédex this is Mew (#151), generation 1 (Kanto).

Eske Yoshinob illustrated this card. The same name is on 177 other cards in the catalog.

Mew (#151) has 60 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 35 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Mew 8/53 in Wizards Black Star Promos (1999). That card is named Mew, while this one is Mew-EX. That card lists 50 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo EX. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Eske Yoshinob illustrated this one. 57 other cards of Mew list a different HP.

Versatile is listed as Ability. This Pokémon can use the attacks of any Pokémon in play (both yours and your opponent's). (You still need the necessary Energy to use each attack.) The attack Replace lists no damage number. The cost is Psychic. Move as many Energy attached to your Pokémon to your other Pokémon in any way you like. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: Pokémon-EX rule: When a Pokémon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

I keep a set binder for Dragons Exalted, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Dragons Exalted set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Mew can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
