Electivire 54/149 · Boundaries Crossed

Boundaries Crossed is a set in the Black & White series. It was released on November 7, 2012. The printed size is 149. This checklist is longer, at 153 cards. Electivire is 54/149, in position 54 of 153 on this checklist. Before it is 53 Electabuzz, and after it is 55 Chinchou. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Electivire is a Stage 1 Lightning Pokémon with 120 HP. In the Pokédex this is Electivire (#466), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Electabuzz. In this catalog that name is Electabuzz (#125).

BERUBURI illustrated this card. The same name is on 4 other cards in the catalog.

Electivire (#466) has 19 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 17 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2025. The earliest other card is Electivire 3/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Nakaoka illustrated that card, and BERUBURI illustrated this one. 16 other cards of Electivire list a different HP.

The attack Electriwave lists no damage number. The cost is Lightning, Colorless, Colorless. This attack does 30 damage to each of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Shock Wave is another attack lists 80 damage. The cost is Lightning, Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. This attack's damage isn't affected by Resistance. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "The instant it presses the tips of its tails onto an opponent, it sends over 20,000 volts of electricity into the foe."

I keep a set binder for Boundaries Crossed, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Boundaries Crossed set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Electivire can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
