Electivire 25/132 · Secret Wonders

Electivire is Pokédex #466, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Electivire is a Stage 1 Lightning Pokémon with 100 HP. The card lists level 50. The card says it evolves from Electabuzz. In this catalog that name is Electabuzz (#125).

Electivire sits at 25/132 in Secret Wonders, position 25 of 132. Before it is 24 Dugtrio, and after it is 26 Electrode. The set belongs to the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on November 1, 2007. The printed size is 132, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare.

Motor Drive is listed as Poké-Power. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may search your discard pile for a Lightning Energy card and attach it to Electivire. This power can't be used if Electivire is affected by a Special Condition. The attack Discharge lists 50× damage. The cost is Lightning, Colorless, Colorless. Discard all Lightning Energy attached to Electivire. Flip a coin for each Lightning Energy you discarded. This attack does 50 damage times the number of heads. Weakness is Fighting +30. Resistance is Metal -20. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "It pushes the tips of its two tails against the foe, then lets loose with over 20,000 volts of power."

Electivire (#466) has 19 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 17 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2025. The earliest other card is Electivire 3/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). Both list 100 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Nakaoka illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. 17 other cards of Electivire list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kouki Saitou. I count 652 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Secret Wonders set binder is where a full Secret Wonders set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Electivire can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
