Togepi 102/135 · Plasma Storm

Togepi is Pokédex #175, generation 2 (Johto). Togepi is a Basic Colorless Pokémon with 40 HP. The card lists Togetic, Togetic (#176) under evolves to.

Togepi sits at 102/135 in Plasma Storm, position 102 of 138. Before it is 101 Snorlax, and after it is 103 Togetic. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on February 6, 2013. The printed size is 135. This checklist is longer, at 138 cards. The listed rarity is Common.

The attack Yawn lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. The Defending Pokémon is now Asleep. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It transforms the kindness and joy of others into happiness, which it stores in its shell."

Togepi (#175) has 20 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 19 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Togepi 30/53 in Wizards Black Star Promos (1999). That card lists 30 HP, and this one lists 40 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Common. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Kanako Eo illustrated this one. 10 other cards of Togepi list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kanako Eo. I count 99 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Plasma Storm set binder is where a full Plasma Storm set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Togepi can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Baby Pokémon. I still need this card.
