Jellicent 39/135 · Plasma Storm

Plasma Storm is a set in the Black & White series. It was released on February 6, 2013. The printed size is 135. This checklist is longer, at 138 cards. Jellicent is 39/135, in position 39 of 138 on this checklist. Before it is 38 Frillish, and after it is 40 Cubchoo. The listed rarity is Rare.

Jellicent is a Stage 1 Team Plasma Water Pokémon with 100 HP. In the Pokédex this is Jellicent (#593), generation 5 (Unova). The card says it evolves from Frillish. In this catalog that name is Frillish (#592).

5ban Graphics illustrated this card. The same name is on 1,629 other cards in the catalog.

Jellicent (#593) has 8 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 6 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Jellicent 31/101 in Noble Victories (2011). That card lists 110 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. Both list the rarity Rare. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 2. 6 other cards of Jellicent list a different HP.

Spiteful Spirit is listed as Ability. If this Pokémon is your Active Pokémon and is Knocked Out by damage from an opponent's attack, the Attacking Pokémon is now Confused and Poisoned. The attack Aqua Bullet lists 40 damage. The cost is Water, Colorless. Does 10 damage to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Weakness is Lightning ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Its body is mostly seawater. It's said there's a castle of ships Jellicent have sunk on the seafloor."

I keep a set binder for Plasma Storm, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Plasma Storm set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Jellicent can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
