Phione 12/100 · Majestic Dawn

Phione is Pokédex #489, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Phione is a Basic Water Pokémon with 60 HP. The card lists level 23.

Phione sits at 12/100 in Majestic Dawn, position 12 of 100. Before it is 11 Palkia, and after it is 13 Rotom. The set belongs to the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on May 1, 2008. The printed size is 100, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

The attack Evolution Wish lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Search your deck for a card that evolves from 1 of your Pokémon and put it onto that Pokémon. (This counts as evolving that Pokémon.) Shuffle your deck afterward. Water Pulse is another attack lists 30 damage. The cost is Water, Water. The Defending Pokémon is now Asleep. Weakness is Lightning +10. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "A Pokémon that lives in warm seas. It inflates the flotation sac on its head to drift and search for food."

Phione (#489) has 8 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 7 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2008 to 2024. The earliest other card is Phione 27/100 in Majestic Dawn (2008). That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 60 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Rare Holo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Daisuke Ito illustrated this one. 8 other cards of Phione list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Daisuke Ito. I count 47 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Majestic Dawn set binder is where a full Majestic Dawn set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Phione can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
