Umbreon 32/100 · Majestic Dawn

Umbreon is Pokédex #197, generation 2 (Johto). Umbreon is a Stage 1 Darkness Pokémon with 80 HP. The card lists level 43. The card says it evolves from Eevee. In this catalog that name is Eevee (#133).

Umbreon sits at 32/100 in Majestic Dawn, position 32 of 100. Before it is 31 Toxicroak, and after it is 33 Unown [P]. The set belongs to the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on May 1, 2008. The printed size is 100, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare.

Moonlight Veil is listed as Poké-Body. Each of your Pokémon that evolves from Eevee has no Weakness, and that Pokémon's Retreat Cost is 0. The attack Confuse Ray lists 50 damage. The cost is Darkness, Colorless, Colorless. The Defending Pokémon is now Confused. Weakness is Fighting +20. Resistance is Psychic -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "The light of the moon changed Eevee's genetic structure. It lurks in darkness for prey."

Umbreon (#197) has 45 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 26 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2001 to 2026. The earliest other card is Umbreon 13/75 in Neo Discovery (2001). Both list 80 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Kimiya Masago illustrated that card, and Masakazu Fukuda illustrated this one. 41 other cards of Umbreon list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Masakazu Fukuda. I count 471 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Majestic Dawn set binder is where a full Majestic Dawn set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Umbreon can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Eevee and the Eeveelutions. I still need this card.
