Pachirisu 43/100 · Majestic Dawn

Pachirisu is Pokédex #417, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Pachirisu is a Basic Lightning Pokémon with 70 HP. The card lists level 25.

Pachirisu sits at 43/100 in Majestic Dawn, position 43 of 100. Before it is 42 Mothim, and after it is 44 Prinplup. The set belongs to the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on May 1, 2008. The printed size is 100, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Trans Tail lists no damage number. Search your discard pile for a Lightning Energy card, show it to your opponent, and put it into your hand. Thundershock is another attack lists 30 damage. The cost is Lightning, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Paralyzed. Weakness is Fighting +20. Resistance is Metal -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It makes electricity with pouches in its cheeks and shoots charges from its tail. It lives atop trees."

Pachirisu (#417) has 18 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 17 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2025. The earliest other card is Pachirisu 35/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). Both list 70 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Uncommon. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Tomokazu Komiya illustrated this one. 2 other cards of Pachirisu list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Tomokazu Komiya. I count 248 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Majestic Dawn set binder is where a full Majestic Dawn set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Pachirisu can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
