Shedinja 40/146 · Legends Awakened

Shedinja is Pokédex #292, generation 3 (Hoenn). Shedinja is a Stage 1 Grass Pokémon with 60 HP. The card lists level 34. The card says it evolves from Nincada. In this catalog that name is Nincada (#290).

Shedinja sits at 40/146 in Legends Awakened, position 40 of 146. Before it is 39 Registeel, and after it is 41 Torkoal. The set belongs to the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on August 1, 2008. The printed size is 146, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare.

Resent is listed as Poké-Power. Once during your opponent's turn, if Shedinja would be Knocked Out by damage from an attack, you may put 4 damage counters on the Attacking Pokémon and each of the opponent's Pokémon that has the same name as the Attacking Pokémon. The attack Curse and Deceive lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Put 3 damage counters on the Defending Pokémon. If Shedinja has any damage counters on it, the Defending Pokémon is now Confused. The flavor text reads "A discarded bug shell that came to life. Peering into the crack on its back is said to steal one's spirit."

Shedinja (#292) has 9 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 8 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2025. The earliest other card is Shedinja 11/97 in Dragon (2003). That card lists 30 HP, and this one lists 60 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. 5 other cards of Shedinja list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kouki Saitou. I count 652 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Legends Awakened set binder is where a full Legends Awakened set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Shedinja can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
