Lucario 61/146 · Legends Awakened

Legends Awakened is a set in the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on August 1, 2008. The printed size is 146, and the checklist is the same length. Lucario is 61/146, in position 61 of 146 on this checklist. Before it is 60 Ledian, and after it is 62 Luxio. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Lucario is a Stage 1 Fighting Pokémon with 90 HP. The card lists level 35. In the Pokédex this is Lucario (#448), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Riolu. In this catalog that name is Riolu (#447).

Naoyo Kimura illustrated this card. The same name is on 256 other cards in the catalog.

Lucario (#448) has 59 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 39 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Lucario 6/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). Both list 90 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Uncommon. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Naoyo Kimura illustrated this one. 50 other cards of Lucario list a different HP.

The attack Focus Blast lists no damage number. The cost is Fighting. Choose 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. This attack does 30 damage to that Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Spike Lariat is another attack lists 60+ damage. The cost is Fighting, Fighting, Colorless. If the Defending Pokémon already has any damage counters on it, this attack does 60 damage plus 20 more damage. Weakness is Psychic +20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It has the ability to sense the auras of all things. It understands human speech."

I keep a set binder for Legends Awakened, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Legends Awakened set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Lucario can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
