Lucario 2/17 · POP Series 6

POP Series 6 is a set in the POP series. It was released on September 1, 2007. The printed size is 17, and the checklist is the same length. Lucario is 2/17, in position 2 of 17 on this checklist. Before it is 1 Bastiodon, and after it is 3 Manaphy. The listed rarity is Rare.

Lucario is a Stage 1 Fighting Pokémon with 90 HP. The card lists level 30. In the Pokédex this is Lucario (#448), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Riolu. In this catalog that name is Riolu (#447).

Kouki Saitou illustrated this card. The same name is on 652 other cards in the catalog.

Lucario (#448) has 59 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 39 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Lucario 6/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). Both list 90 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. 50 other cards of Lucario list a different HP.

The attack Feint lists 30 damage. The cost is Colorless. This attack's damage isn't affected by Resistance. Aura Sphere is another attack lists 40 damage. The cost is Fighting, Fighting. Does 20 damage to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Weakness is Psychic +20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It has the ability to sense the auras of all things. It understands human speech."

I keep a set binder for POP Series 6, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the POP Series 6 set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Lucario can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
