Starmie δ 15/113 · Delta Species

Delta Species is a set in the EX series. It was released on October 31, 2005. The printed size is 113. This checklist is longer, at 114 cards. Starmie δ is 15/113, in position 15 of 114 on this checklist. Before it is 14 Salamence δ, and after it is 16 Tyranitar δ. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Starmie δ is a Stage 1 Water Metal Pokémon with 60 HP. In the Pokédex this is Starmie (#121), generation 1 (Kanto). The card says it evolves from Staryu. In this catalog that name is Staryu (#120).

Masakazu Fukuda illustrated this card. The same name is on 471 other cards in the catalog.

Starmie (#121) has 34 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 28 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Starmie 64/102 in Base (1999). That card is named Starmie, while this one is Starmie δ. Both list 60 HP. The rarity there is Common, and here it is Rare Holo. Keiji Kinebuchi illustrated that card, and Masakazu Fukuda illustrated this one. 32 other cards of Starmie list a different HP.

Metal Navigation is listed as Poké-Power. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may search your deck for a Metal Energy card and attach it to Starmie. Shuffle your deck afterward. This power can't be used if Starmie is affected by a Special Condition. The attack Collect lists no damage number. The cost is Water. Draw 3 cards. Energy Loop is another attack lists 30 damage. The cost is Metal. Return an Energy card attached to Starmie to your hand. Weakness is Lightning ×2. The card text says: This Pokémon is both Water Metal type.

I keep a set binder for Delta Species, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Delta Species set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Starmie can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Delta Species cards. I still need this card.
