Hypno 23/113 · Delta Species

Hypno is Pokédex #097, generation 1 (Kanto). Hypno is a Stage 1 Psychic Pokémon with 70 HP. The card says it evolves from Drowzee. In this catalog that name is Drowzee (#096).

Hypno sits at 23/113 in Delta Species, position 23 of 114. Before it is 22 Holon's Magneton, and after it is 24 Mightyena δ. The set belongs to the EX series. It was released on October 31, 2005. The printed size is 113. This checklist is longer, at 114 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

Binding Aura is listed as Poké-Body. Your opponent can't play any Basic Pokémon or Evolution cards from his or her hand to evolve an Active Pokémon and can't attach any Energy cards from his or her hand to an Asleep Pokémon. The attack Sleep Inducer lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Switch 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon with 1 of the Defending Pokémon. Your opponent chooses the Defending Pokémon to switch. The new Defending Pokémon is now Asleep. Psyshot is another attack lists 40 damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1.

Hypno (#097) has 23 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 20 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Hypno 8/62 in Fossil (1999). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 70 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Midori Harada illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 20 other cards of Hypno list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Midori Harada. I count 352 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Delta Species set binder is where a full Delta Species set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Hypno can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
