Sceptile ex δ 96/100 · Crystal Guardians

Crystal Guardians is a set in the EX series. It was released on August 1, 2006. The printed size is 100, and the checklist is the same length. Sceptile ex δ is 96/100, in position 96 of 100 on this checklist. Before it is 95 Kyogre ex, and after it is 97 Shiftry ex. The listed rarity is Rare Holo EX.

Sceptile ex δ is a Stage 2 ex Psychic Pokémon with 140 HP. In the Pokédex this is Sceptile (#254), generation 3 (Hoenn). The card says it evolves from Grovyle. In this catalog that name is Grovyle (#253).

Shizurow illustrated this card. The same name is on 79 other cards in the catalog.

Sceptile (#254) has 23 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 14 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2018. The earliest other card is Sceptile 11/109 in Ruby & Sapphire (2003). That card is named Sceptile, while this one is Sceptile ex δ. That card lists 120 HP, and this one lists 140 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Holo EX. Midori Harada illustrated that card, and Shizurow illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 1. 20 other cards of Sceptile list a different HP.

Extra Liquid is listed as Poké-Body. Each player's Pokémon-ex can't use any Poké-Powers and pays Colorless more Energy to use its attacks. Each Pokémon can't be affected by more than 1 Extra Liquid Poké-Body. The attack Power Revenge lists 60+ damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. Does 60 damage plus 10 more damage for each Prize card your opponent has taken. Weakness is Grass ×2. Resistance is Water -30. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: When Pokémon-ex has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

I keep a set binder for Crystal Guardians, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Crystal Guardians set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Sceptile can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). Themed lists that include this exact card are Delta Species cards and Hoenn starters. I still need this card.
