Heracross 7/101 · Hidden Legends

Hidden Legends is a set in the EX series. It was released on June 1, 2004. The printed size is 101. This checklist is longer, at 102 cards. Heracross is 7/101, in position 7 of 102 on this checklist. Before it is 6 Exploud, and after it is 8 Jirachi. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Heracross is a Basic Grass Pokémon with 70 HP. In the Pokédex this is Heracross (#214), generation 2 (Johto).

Hajime Kusajima illustrated this card. The same name is on 206 other cards in the catalog.

Heracross (#214) has 26 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 21 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2000 to 2025. The earliest other card is Heracross 6/111 in Neo Genesis (2000). That card lists 60 HP, and this one lists 70 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Hajime Kusajima illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 24 other cards of Heracross list a different HP.

The attack Extra Draw lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. If your opponent has any Pokémon-ex in play, search your deck for up to 2 Grass Energy cards and attach them to Heracross. Shuffle your deck afterward. Sonicboom is another attack lists 50 damage. The cost is Grass, Grass, Colorless. This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness or Resistance. Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 1.

I keep a set binder for Hidden Legends, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Hidden Legends set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Heracross can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
