Raikou is Pokédex #243, generation 2 (Johto). Rocket's Raikou ex is a Basic ex Darkness Pokémon with 100 HP.
Rocket's Raikou ex sits at 108/107 in Deoxys, position 108 of 108. The card before it is 107 Rayquaza ★. The set belongs to the EX series. It was released on February 1, 2005. The printed size is 107. This checklist is longer, at 108 cards. The collector number is above the printed set size of 107. The listed rarity is Rare Secret.
Lightning Burst is listed as Poké-Power. Whenever you attach a Darkness Energy card from your hand to Rocket's Raikou ex, you may choose 1 of the Defending Pokémon and switch it with 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. Your opponent chooses the Benched Pokémon to switch. This power can't be used if Rocket's Raikou ex is affected by a Special Condition. The attack Thunderous Blow lists 40+ damage. The cost is Lightning, Colorless, Colorless. Does 40 damage plus 10 more damage for each Lightning Energy attached to Rocket's Raikou ex. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: When Pokémon-ex has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.
Raikou (#243) has 26 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 19 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2001 to 2026. The earliest other card is Raikou 13/64 in Neo Revelation (2001). That card is named Raikou, while this one is Rocket's Raikou ex. That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Secret. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Ryo Ueda illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 25 other cards of Raikou list a different HP.
The illustrator line reads Ryo Ueda. I count 462 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.
Deoxys set binder is where a full Deoxys set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Raikou can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Trainer's Pokémon, Team Rocket cards, and Legendary beasts. I still need this card.
